their 20 overs.
Ethan Hill took 2 for 2 and there were wickets also for Matty Jones, Will Sissons and captain Luke Sumner.
Llandudno started well but openers Matty Jones with 4 and Solomon
Dickens 10 were out quickly after putting on 25 for the first wicket. However
Will Sissons 24 and Ethan Hill 30 not out took the reply close and Keating
Hoe Pike with 13 not out made sure Llandudno won their first ever fifteens title
by 7 wickets with 99 for 3.
Captain Luke Sumner and the team collected the winning trophy after the game.
Man of the match was Ethan Hill for his two wickets and 30 not
out. Hill was also man of the match last season in the thirteens final. It
was a good weekend for him scoring an unbeaten 107 for the second team in senior

Under 11s Championship

North East Wales - 151 all out - 30.5 overs Eryri - 152-7 - 34.4 overs

North East Wales won the toss and elected to field on a good wicket at Connah's Quay.
Eryri captain and opening bowler Harry Spillane struck early dismissing opening batsman N Pierce.
NEW's opener Dane Tinsley and Jack Parry then constructed a good partnership of 50 runs before a flurry of wickets rocked the boat slightly; Parry (16), Tinsley (31) and Lythgoe (1), Scott Brown and Sean Buchanan with the wickets.
Oliver Gough and Lewis Cole put together another good partnership for NEW passing the 100 run mark before Sean Buchanan struck again dismissing Cole for 23. Buchanan continued to bowl well throughout his spell of 7 overs followed by a solitary over and ended with excellent figures of 7.4-3-25-6! A brace from Tom Hocking with sharp work behind the stumps from Chris O'Melia dismissed two more lower order batsman and NEW were restricted to 151 on a good wicket with an excellent outfield.

In response Eryri started badly, within the first 7 overs opening bowlers Jack Parry and J Billington dismissed O'Melia, Tomos Davies, Owen Davies and Matthew Russell, with the score on only 15.
A watchful partnership between Scott Brown and Josh Massey took the score up to the forties before Brown was bowled leaving the score on 46-5 off 11.
Harry Spillane then joined Massey at the crease, this partnership proved crucial, Massey showed intent from the off scoring mainly in boundaries with plenty of support from Spillane. A partnership of 50 runs was quickly followed by Massey's half century. An excellent sixth wicket partnership of 77 was finally broken when Billington returned to the attack and trapped Massey leg before for 66.
Sean Buchanan continued his good performance joining Spillane at the crease and scoring a quickfire 21 before being bowled.
This cameo edged Eryri within touching distance and Spillane with his captain's innings of 22* saw Eryri home with an excellent shot for four through backward square. The winning margin by three wickets.

Excellent win for the U14's against Mid Wales in Builth Wells

Notwithstanding that we only had 10 players all of the squad contributed to a very mature performance.
After being put in all batted well, Rhydian Morgan built a well put together 28 in an opening stand of 60 off the first 15 overs, Aaron Hughes kept the scoreboard ticking over and Jack Sissions timed the ball beautifully. Jamie Grimshaw was run out trying to maintain the run rate and Meirion Layton made the most of the few balls he faced hitting two sixes on a large ground to enable Eryri to close on 229 for 4 from the allotted 45 overs.
Morgan Murray-Williams batted through the innings to score a superb 105 not out. He gave only one chance when he was already in the 50's but drove really strongly on a big ground with a lush out field where boundaries were difficult to come by. He maintained the tempo throughout and ran well between the wickets on a very warm tiring day.
Jack Sissons and Meirion Layton provided a very tidy opening attack and the Mid Wales batters could not get away. The first wicket fell with the score at 12 from 8 overs. All the bowlers bowled well Sean Reilly taking the second wicket in the first over of his hostile spell. Jamie Scrimshaw had an excellent spell of 7 overs 4 maidens. 1 for 5. The wickets were spread among the bowlers with Aaron Hughes and Jack picking up 2 each.
The Mid Wales innings closed on 119 for 8 from the 45 overs. Dan Edwards opened the batting and was seventh out for a well made 58.
The team put a lot of effort in to the fielding and a run out from Morgan was a great testament to his enthusiasm which was maintained throughout a long hot day.
Many thanks to Keiron Roberts and Ioan Jones from Pwllheli and Owen Jones from Bangor who came in at the last minute and made very valuable contributions to the sides good win.
